Leaping Lizards reptile shop york was the vision of co-owner Andrew which became a reality in 2000 with the help of his long suffering partner Lucy.

They aimed to bring an air of professionalism and cleanliness to the reptile industry which in most counts was lacking.

Working hand in hand with many zoo's and professional breeders has allowed Leaping Lizards (york) to be at the cutting edge of some of the most upto date husbandry techniques.

Now nine years and two children later on Andrew and Lucy are the proud owners of what is believed to be one of the finest reptile shops in the UK and Europe. Although the business has grown it still remains a family business which is able to cater for reptile keepers of all levels from a small family pet, to locality specific species for zoo exhibits.
